The first week numbers of Lil Nas X’s debut album “MONTERO” are here. “MONTERO” debuts at #2 on the Billboard 200 with moving around 129k equivalent units in the first week. Drake’s latest album “Certified Lover Boy” earned #1, for the straight third week in a row. Drake’s CLB has moved 169k in this week, making the total number in excess of 1 Million. The Toronto rap star earned the biggest first week of 2021 with his new album, which moved 604k in the first week.

Lil Nas X’s latest album had 15 tracks with guest appearances from Doja Cat, Elton John, Megan Thee Stallion, Miley Cyrus, and Jack Harlow. The title track, “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” was dropped back in March and topped Billboard Hot 100, earning Lil Nas X his second number one hit on the chart after “Old Town Road”
